Marabu

king of the family

Today I can show one card and tell four stories. First I told my german friends about my latest visit at a german manufacturer of craft paints and materials in my last blogpost. Because this company Marabu is also well known in the rest of the world and because I am working with their products since I can remember I will tell you more about this old and new love of mine in future blog posts.

Second I want to participate in another CAS-ual friday. (More about that later). Third I want to talk a bit about my blog and future crafting and fourth I can talk about the huge upcoming changes in my life during the next weeks. And all this with ONE single card! For more English please scroll down.

I do blogging since 2006 and changed blogs and designs often. After I change designs I like them for a few weeks. In addition I change my favourite colour combinations from time to time. That gave me the idea to install a kind of colour chart for blogging and crafting, to make things easier for me. Today I will start with Oriental Boho because I recently found  some jewellery that looked so pretty and was made with the colours magenta and gold.

Todays card was made for the actual challenge of CAS-ual friday „over the edge„. I used a Marabu stencil and some embossing powder for heat embossing with an emboss stamp pad. The bottom edge was cut with Spellbinders „Scalloped Borders one“.

The technique I used to get that crown over the edge was from my turtorial „stamp across the fold“.

Why have I choosen this particular stencil? Well, I am looking forward to become a grandmother in a few weeks, and it will be a grandson! I bet he will be his parents prince and rule the family. And my baby girl will be a mother!
