Deko-Accessoires-Schmuck DIY Easter

wings of a butterfly

Yes, this very moment I am listening to HIM´s song. But I won´t rip out the wings of my butterflys! Beware! I tenderly punched them with my brandnew punch, because while crafting the flower egg yesterday I suddenly had this grassy egg in mind.

I crocheted the egg with „Brazilia“ from the yarn company Coats, and used a similar styrofoam egg like yesterday. For crocheting an egg shape you only have to start with a small circle, add some extra stitches until you reach the biggest part of the egg, pull the cozy over the form and decrease until you have reached the other end.

The Brazilia yarn is very forgiving, so you don´t have to be very exact.

Then punch flowers, butterflys or even any other critters from your punch selection. Maybe you want to add some cute little ladybugs (goood idea…)

PS: But no matter what, don´t- under no circumstances- rip out the wings of a butterfly! Even if HIM tells you so!
