Less than three days from now I can see what the crafting business has to offer this year in Europe. The huge show ‚creativeworld‚ in Frankfurt will invite all professionals to this biggest show on the continent. And I will be there! For more english please scroll down.
Dreimal werden wir noch wach, heissa dann ist Basteltach. Die größte Bastelmesse für Profis und Händler in Europa wird ihre Tore am Samstag öffnen, creativeworld, ich komme!
Da ich ja schon vor ewigen Zeiten das Lager der Händler verlassen habe wird sich mancher fragen was ich dann überhaupt dort suche, so ganz ohne Laden, onlineshop oder sonstiger Festanstellung. Ich will es einfach wissen! Die neusten Trends und Produkte, Ideen und Möglichkeiten. Jeder Besuch einer so großen Messe ist der reinste Overkill für die Sinne und Sehnsüchte. Und für den Kopf.
Im letzten Jahr habe ich euch ausführlich über die Messe berichtet (klick). In diesem Jahr legen wir noch einen drauf: Ich habe schon jetzt ein paar Termine auf meiner Liste, die meinen Puls in die Höhe treiben. Wenn Vorfreude die schönste Freude ist, dann möchte ich dass es niemals Samstag wird!
Ein Fleißkärtchen habe ich mir schon vor der Messe verdient: Um mit meinen lieben Freunden bei Marabu über zukünftige Projekte sprechen zu können, habe ich ein Testblatt im Gepäck. Ich habe mit der „Gelli Plate“ experimentiert und dabei selbstverständlich Marabu Farben benutzt. Diese Gelplatte kann süchtig machen! Ich möchte in Acrylfarbe baden und dann alles auf die Platte schmieren! (Ich werde noch ausführlich darüber berichten)
Working ahead for visiting one of my favorite booths on the show I made some samples with a gelli plate and acrylics from Marabu, my favorite paint company. I have been surprised how nicely they work on my plate and how perfect they mix and match. I can’t wait to talk to the Marabu folks about it.
Another suprise for me are the lots and lots of people I will meet this year. Last year I didnt plan to meet anybody. 2014 will be different. My wishlist of crafting celebrities keeps growing as we speak. Can you imagine I will meet famous designers and artists, company managers and owners?
Why am I doing all this? There is one simple answer: I want to know what is out there. Products and techniques. A show like the creativeworld is a hot spot for information. I will stalk every single person who knows all about paints, glues, inks and powders. I will have no shame! And I will tell you all about it!
